Quickex 의 quicker-pro.  생긴거 답지않게 무식한 녀석입니다. 한번의 펌프질에 들어가는 용량이 통상 휴대용펌프의 두세배가량인가 됩니다. mtb타이어 40psi까지 채우는데 40번인가만 펌프하면 끝납니다.(40번이었나 20번이었나 기억은 가물가물합니다;;;) 같은 압력일때 들어가는 힘도 적습니다.(1/3~1/4수준) 무게는 180그램으로 작지는 않습니다만 전체길이가 18센티정도로 적절한 길이입니다. (일부 져지 뒷주머니에도 들어갈지도 모르겠네요.) 단, 해외에 메일오더로만 구할 수 있습니다 ㅡ.ㅡ;;;;;

Velo News' pump test showed the Swedish Quicker Pro to be the hands down winner. In that test it reached 100psi in 100 strokes while the next best pump took 200 and the other 18 models required 300-500 strokes. It also pumps enough volume to work well with mountain bike tires. So this is a mini-pump that compares favorably even to full sized pumps. It's well made, will fit in a Velo Orange saddle bag or jersey pocket, and actually works well on both presta and schrader valves.
We recently received the following e-mail:
"Chris, this pump is so good that I feel no need to carry CO2 cartridges anymore. (You probably don't want to put that in the endorsement.) My procedure has been to pump the tire up as far as I could, then give it some CO2 blasts to fill it up. I'm 68 years old and don't have sufficient arm strength to use most mini pumps."
The following is condensed from Quicker's description:
Everyone who has tried to inflate 5 bars of pressure or more with a mini-pump, knows that it is in most cases even impossible! Quicker Pro has a pump design called Multi-Chamber Double Action. Unlike all other hand pumps on the market, Quicker Pro produces a constant airflow! Meaning that Quicker Pro generate the same air-volume per stroke independently what pressure you have in the tyre! So if you, for example pump, from 2-3 bars or from 9-10 bars the number of strokes will be the same!
The pressure can be read at the integrated pressure gauge, which is cleverly placed in the front cylinder of the pump. Quicker Pro is very popular among road bikers since they require very high pressure in the tyres.
Quicker Pro features a valve lock that fixes the pump to the valve and prevents leakage. The valve/nipple seal can easily be unscrewed and in order to change the valve just turn the inner parts.
An important factor when it comes to pumping, is how much arm power you need to use! The force used when inflating with Quicker Pro is by 7 bars only 5 kilos/11 lb.! Compare this with a conventional pump which requires 17-20 kilos /37-44 lb.!
A clip is included in case you would like to attach the Quicker Pro to your bike.
Specs: Length: 180 mm Diameter: 34 mm Weight: 160 grams Capacity: 105 cm3/stroke Maximum pressure: Guaranteed to 11 bars / 154 PSI

NEW PUMPING TECHNIQUE

Quickex are proud to produce this pump and are sure you will be satisfied with your choice.

The Quicker Pro works in another way than any other pumps.

With this new patented technique -MultiChamberDoubleAction- the air will be compressed when you push and when you pull the handle the air goes into the tire.

Thanks to this technique you can achieve both high pressure and large volume at the same time. This is not possible with normal pumps.

Fits all valves!

It comes assembled to fit a Schrader(American-car)valve.

To convert it to fit the Presta/Sclaverand(French-Racing) valve  and Dunlopvalve simply turn both parts inside the head.

1. Unscrew the aluminium nipple and lift the alu lever.

2. Take out the rubber part and turn it so the small hole is outside

3. Take out the plastic part and turn it so the pin will point inside and

4. Screw the alunipple tight back on.

Using the pump, put the pump head as tight as possible on the valve and then lift the lever so the rubber closes very tight around the valve.

It is important so no air leaks beside the rubber.

Start pumping and note that after a few strokes the pump will push air more when pulled, not pushed.

You will notice that you do not need to work as hard as with other pumps - especially when the pressure gets higher.

Thanks to the technique Pro produces the same volume of air also when the pressure gets higher!

The pump has a built in pressure gauge, this will apare onse you start pumping as it is protected under the outer cylinder. Please note that the pressure indicated cannot be 100% correct. Excpect a deviation on +/- 0,5 bar.

The flexible holder wiil fit frames from 25 up to 40 mm in diameter. To get the maximum flexibility you might have to stretch it by taking the holder in both hands and pull hard. You will feel how it stretches and will stay flexible after this.

When you attach the holder think of stretching it already in the first step and keep it stretched all around the tube for best effect. If you have an overized frame you might try to find a place where it is easier to attach the pump.

To keep your Pro working in the best way try not to get dust or sand into the pump.

If the pump starts going heavier you can lubricate the pistons and also inside the cylinders. To do this you can unscrew the cap in the bottom but be careful so you do not loose the O-ring.

You can use most kinds of oil or grease, but be careful so you do not use to much.
